CEO & Founder
Brett Sandwick
Brett Sandwick, founder and CEO of Elite Mentality, is a highly skilled and certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) with a passion for leveraging sport psychology to drive performance improvement. With a wealth of experience in the field, Brett is dedicated to helping special operations, athletes, teams, and coaches optimize their mental approach and achieve peak performance.

Consulting Experience
Brett has worked with numerous professional, collegiate, high school, club, and youth athletes in individual and team settings to enhance performance.
​
He has trained players in the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Professional Golf Association, Canadian football League, European Football League, ultra marathon runners, competition shooters, and Professional Rugby.
​
Brett has trained both collegiate and high school athletes, teams, and coaches in college golf, football, baseball, softball, basketball, bowling, volleyball, track and field, lacrosse, cross country, swimming, fencing, wrestling and gymnastics.
​
He has also provided mental skills training to Special Operators as their Cognitive Performance Specialist at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, Washington. He has been training US Army soldiers since 2013.
​
Brett holds a partnership with ProSports in Gig Harbor, WA.
​
Brett has also stepped inside the classroom as an instructor of graduate and undergraduate classes in Applied Sport Psychology at Pacific Lutheran University.

Kaitlin Lorey
Kaitlin Lorey is a Mental Skills Consultant who loves working alongside others to help them excel and thrive in the areas of life that matter the most to them. As a former collegiate athlete and coach, Kaitlin knows a key aspect to increasing performance in individuals and teams is developing their mentality. In order to achieve the goals we have for ourselves, having an winning mentality can be the differentiating factor that lifts someone to an elite level of performance.

Consulting Experience
Over the last decade Kaitlin has had the opportunity to work with high school and collegiate athletes, coaches, business professionals, and U.S. Army Soldiers to build their skillsets in the areas of mental toughness and resilience.
Whether it’s working with a business to enhance their employees’ resilience in a dynamic workplace, conducting executive coaching sessions, or training U.S. Army Soldiers to perform at their best when it matters the most, Kaitlin has a broad resume of clients who recognize the importance of developing their mental skillsets.
Kaitlin also has years of experience working with athletes to help them hone their mental edge. At the high school, club, and collegiate level, the athletes Kaitlin has worked with recognize the importance of mental training to give them the competitive edge that they’re looking to develop.

Mental Performance Consultant
Nate Wolch
Nate Wolch is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) who has been working with high performers in amateur, professional, and Olympic sports and elite military units. Nate has a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Western Washington University and is pursuing a PhD in Cognition from Grand Canyon University. Nate’s specialty is helping performers shine in high-pressure moments.

Consulting Experience
Nate has experience working on the mental game with performers at every level including youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and senior athletes in both individual and team sessions.
​
His resume includes providing mental performance support to athletes in the National Football League (NFL), Olympians, professional MMA fighters, United States Powerlifting Association (USPA), competitive pistol shooters, and professional performing artists.
​
At the high school and college level, Nate has worked with athletes in track and field, tennis, golf, volleyball, basketball, and soccer.
Nate has worked with Army Rangers as their Cognitive Performance Specialist at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and has been training the minds of US Army soldiers since 2019.
​
Nate has extended his reach to the academic setting and has taught an intro sport psychology course in the Kinesiology department at Seattle University since 2020 and a sport psychology course at Western Washington University.
Nate has published a research article on the effects of mindfulness meditation on performance under pressure in the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology.
